WHAT IS SAAT?

Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT) is a minimally-invasive, drug-free approach to confirming and treating allergies. Compared to other common treatments, this specialized and simple acupuncture treatment can reduce allergy symptoms by 80-95% and provide longer relief from allergy symptoms, just by placing one needle in the ear.

Dr. Nader Soliman, M.D., board certified in anesthesiology and medical acupuncture, developed the SAAT protocol and notes that in over 10 years of practicing this method, there has been no reoccurrence of the same allergy reported except during hormonal shifts such as puberty, pregnancy, menopause, etc.

Jocelyn is one of the few people in the State of Colorado that is trained and certified by Dr. Soliman to administer the SAAT treatment.

WHAT DOES SAAT TREAT?

  • Seasonal and Environmental Allergies that include all of Colorado trees, grasses, weeds and BEES!

  • Food allergies such as:

    • Gluten

    • Dairy - Milk

    • Eggs

    • Meat

    • Shellfish

    • Nuts

    • …etc

  • Mast Cell Activation Syndrome - MCAS

  • Alpha-Gal

What is Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS)?

Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) is a condition where the body's mast cells, which are part of the immune system, release too many chemicals, like histamine, in response to things that usually wouldn't trigger them. Mast cells are normally involved in allergic reactions and inflammation. In MCAS, these cells "activate" inappropriately, causing symptoms like itching, hives, swelling, digestive issues, trouble breathing, and even headaches. It can make everyday things like food, stress, or environmental changes trigger unusual and uncomfortable reactions.

What is Alpha-Gal?

Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) is an allergic condition where people develop a sensitivity to alpha-gal, a sugar molecule found in the meat of mammals. The allergy is typically triggered after being bitten by certain types of ticks, especially the Lone Star tick in the U.S. The tick bite introduces alpha-gal into the body, and for some individuals, this triggers an immune system response, making their body allergic to the sugar.

People with AGS can experience allergic reactions like hives, difficulty breathing, stomach issues, and even anaphylaxis after consuming mammalian meat (such as beef, pork, lamb, or venison) or products made from mammals, like gelatin, cosmetics, some medications and milk products. The reactions usually occur 3 to 6 hours after eating the meat, which is a delayed response compared to typical food allergies.

Interestingly, the allergy doesn't develop immediately after a tick bite—sometimes it takes weeks or months for symptoms to appear. AGS is still being studied, but the SAAT treatment is the only treatment that is known to successfully treat it.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?

If the needle stays in place properly for 3-4 weeks, only one treatment is generally required for each allergen.
